F1 season.

instead of waking up to my alarm clock,
i am waking up to the sounds of high speed cars zooming around albert park.

argh.

the downside to holding such international events,
is that while it might bring in the economic revenues (although, personally i feel that that is really quite dubious), satisfy the few F1 fans and international tourists,
it puts out the rest of the population,
especially the host community,
who will have their backyards swamped with strangers.
imagine, i am staying a distance away,
and can already hear the sounds of the cars,
what more, living right smack in the middle of where the action is taking place!

not a very lovely, melodious sound i would imagine.
