men, books, coffee. yes in that order
Men.
anyone knows chandler's janice from friends?
and how she absolutely loves to go "oh my god" in that janice way.
yeah imagine me doing a janice "OH MY GOD"
i declare now that MR TULK the cafe here in melbourne stocks the hottest servers around.
all the different types- the blue eyed birtish kind with short curly hair, the surfer dude, the jock, the dreamy poetic kind with longish brown hair.
my personal favourite: the one with the blue eyes and a crinkly smile. he always wishes me a good day. (well he most probably would have said to a million other people, but who gives a shit)
Books.
i am dying to get my hands on the other Elizabeth Guilbert book.
i absolutely loved her first book, eat pray love.
but is is expensive to purchase books here, cause of some australian law about protecting the aussie market.
i am trying to grow a book collection here (yes i am aware that i am going to have to lug it all back to singapore with me)
i am missing my books back home. and the ones which are gone forever.
absence do make the heart grow fonder.
i sound so psychotic talking about my lust with books.
lord knows what i do with them. haha.
Coffee
i have been gulping them down like water. sometimes up to two cups a day.
no wonder my tummy have been protesting.
no fancy starbucks for me, not here.
just plain old decent lattes with one sugar.
lovely cafes they have over here in melbourne.
for me this is what defines melbourne: a strong vibrant coffee culture which is represented through a wide range of nice, quaint, cosy shops for you to seek shelter in.
